My Story
Professional:
I graduated from UNC with a Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2008. Upon graduation I worked on the Neuro/MedSurg Unit at PVH for about 8 years. It was a great start, but not where I wanted to be.
I transferred to Labor and Delivery after that where I worked for the next 8 years. I loved helping families bring life into the world and become a family. It was a very rewarding job. After awhile though, I realized how much I wanted to help new families with their breastfeeding journeys. I resigned from the hospital in May of 2022 to become a stay-at-home mom and follow my passion to obtain my IBCLC. I took and passed the certification in September 2022 after which I opened up my own private practice. I truly believe that breastfeeding is a journey and every journey is different. I am here to walk that path with you and navigate your journey. I look forward to working with you and your little one.
Personal:
I was born and raised in Wisconsin and moved to Colorado in 2005. I met and married my husband in Fort Collins. We have 3 beautiful children that we are raising in Fort Collins. They are the reason I got into Labor and Delivery and later became a Lactation Consultant. They have been through so much with me and I couldn’t have done any of this without them!
